Grimsby will come to Meadow Lane full of confidence after securing a 5-2 victory last weekend and will be backed by a really big following so this is all set up to be a a tough challenge. We need to get our first 3 points at home and if we can do so, we will have made a really good start to the campaign. I'm not confident that we will achieve our first clean sheet in the league but I think Sheridan is putting together a team which is improving week by week. I'm going to go for 2-1 win for Notts with Jon Stead continuing his red hot streak. Here's hoping

I sense goals galore in this match (so bet 0-0 everyone). They have a mixed start to the season and are looking for their first away points of the season backed by 2k of fishy fans roaring them on.
My prediction is that the game will be a see-saw match with us coming out on top 3-2.

Been wrong every match so far this season. 3-1 Notts. We can't keep a clean sheet but keep scoring more than one per match.

Unfortunately my head predicts defeat. I can see us missing chances and gifting them a couple so the wait for a win at home goes on. On the plus side I've been pretty rubbish on the predictions so far, let's hope that continues!

My nagging worry is are we likely to win four on the bounce.

I understand you being cautious Optipez but the team that got us relegated to League 2 unbelievably won 6 games on the bounce (5 in the league) so anything is possible.

17:50 Saturday, I'll go for 2 - 2 a great fight back in the last quarter of the game and a missed penalty by the captain.

I was spot on in the 88th minute - thankfully I got it wrong again!
