Let's see. Dour Scot, no passion, deluded interview? He'll have to go.

Not very inspiring! I couldn't work out if Fullarton wanted us to play 8 in defence but it sure played out that way. Their midfield had free reign over our pitch all day.

The only shining light from saturday was the nice carvery and several pints before the game. Oh and the padded seats at least made the watching experience slightly more comfortable.

Mr Trew himself looked dejected and like a man who has ran out of ideas looking for a final throw of the dice to turn his fortunes around.

Fullarton's self-proclaimed tactic has been trying to stifle the opposition's strengths by selecting a team where each player is given a very clear role within a wider game plan.

If this works, you can understand playing people out of position and even playing a bit defensively at home. But you run a BIG risk because if it doesn't work, you're left with negative, ineffective tactics with players operating outside of their comfort zone and unable to adapt if Plan A fails.

At best, it's over-complicating things. Football's a simple game and especially at home, it shouldn't be about defensive game plans, but playing to your squad's strengths.

My hope is that the Wimbledon game brought this reality home to Fullarton. If not, then I really worry about the rest of the season.

The tactic should be to let the opposition worry about us, not vice versa.

Totally agree - and the fact that at home we've been largely very good this season, makes JF's tactics even more baffling.

It might be an indication of the football that's going to be on offer going forwards. If so, the gates will drop.
