Getting in early for this weekends match up against the in form Wimbledon. Saturday will be the first time the majority of Notts fans get to see a Fullarton team in action and who knows what style he'll try out.

doubt Fullarton has completed his homework on the opposition but can he get his game plan across to his players.

Wimbledon undefeated in 7 away games, including trips to Portsmouth, accrington and Cambridge, sit 7th overall in the away form table and have the chance to move into the playoffs with a win.

Notts County are 5th in the home table and are hoping that the improved defensive performance from Fullartons first game continues. With the return of Noble and perhaps Aborah back from injury it will be interesting to see who will line up in midfield.

I am going for a 1-1 draw.

I thought Noble still had 1 more game of his ban? (think it was 4 games and he has only missed 3)? Or maybe I can't count!

He was sent off against Wycombe and we have played 4 since...

I think this will be a comfortable 2-0 victory, Wimbledon seem to have been a package this season so far but if defensively we are going to be more solid we should win more than we lose. I'm looking forward to Saturday to see what this new era brings to the table.

I'm hopeful of a win (as I usually am!) but I'm going to go for a 1-1 draw. It would certainly help if Izale is back.

I've got a bad feeling about this game. I hope Fullarton proves me wrong, but I can see attacking flair being ditched in favour of a more solid defence. I predict a dull game where neither side creates much but we manage to gift them a goal.

It's the question of balance that bothers me. We may have to settle for a point.

I'm going for 3-1 because... well, we haven't seen a Jamie Fullarton home team before, so I have idea. May as well be optimistic!

Well that was rubbish. We did not compete in midfield, sat back to try to defend and did not look like scoring after the first 5 minutes.

We were reduced to hoofing it and that will not work.

We really need to play players in their best positions and play with movement.

That sure was a pile of steaming turd and we are very lucky it wasn't 5 or 6, as you have said uysapie why is it so bloody difficult to put players in their best positions!!!! The defence must be the thickest in the football league, I saw fullarton tell the defence to push up countless times but it just wasn't getting through. The midfield was absolutely dire Campbell cant play there, hes a forward ffs and Thompson was just garbage for all his tackles which came from his mistakes. wow has this afternoon pissed me right off.

A gutless, spineless surrender which was like a re-run of the Mansfield game only worse! Odd team selection, awful formation, we made a Wimbledon team that are hard-working, organised and motivated look like world beaters. Fullarton has a lot of questions to answer because today he just looked clueless.

He obviously watched a different game, given his interview comments.

If he thinks we were on top, either he needs Specsavers or a lobotomy.

The future does not look good tonight.

That interview annoyed me. It suggests he didn't watch the same game as we did. He's fortunate not to have a 0-5 scoreline on record in his first home game. He might have said the right words to impress the Trews, but he won't get far with the fans if he ignores the truth in that manner.

Totally agree Elite.. far worse than the Mansfield game. Wasn't Frank Skinner that coined the phrase "It's the hope that kills you" After yesterdays performance, there is hope

More like the Salford game, embarrassing and pitiful.

I have a horrible feeling that things will start to get a bit nasty soon if we get many more performances like yesterday's.

I wasn't expecting too much yesterday, in fact looking to the top of this thread I was the only one predicting defeat, but I'm still shocked at the manner of that defeat. We weren't just beaten, whatever the scoreline says we were thrashed. Fullarton got the team wrong, the tactics wrong, the lack of subs wrong, and his post match interview hopelessly wrong. It really was a personal nightmare for him. The only faint hope is that he can appoint an assistant who can help him correct things, because even this early in his tenure I'm convinced he hasn't got what it takes to sort things himself.
