He seems to be a great lower division manager but just hasn't been able to cut it above league 1.

Did well here regardless of the talent he inherited.

Would have loved to have him back, but if he didn't want to manage us in League 1 when we had a bit of upwards momentum, I doubt he would have come back to us now.

Surprised that Bristol City have sacked him really. I know he had a decent budget but the Championship's tough and it's not like they're dead and buried. But then, maybe I'm not ambitious enough!

I think he had taken them as far as he could and other teams sussed his tactics.
