Ok, so he was nobody's first choice, or 21st choice for that matter but he is our manager and deserves our support. The chances may be slim but I hope he turns out to be a real gem. You can't say us long suffering fans don't deserve a bit of sustained success.

Good luck Jamie, I hope you'll be a great success

Agreed. As disappointed as I was by his appointment, it's happened and no amount of whining will change it. Remember, he has an unbeaten record so far so let's just support him until he gives us reason not to.

I'm intrigued to see what he can do. Ray Trew's recruitment record is well known, but I don't think Julian Winter would have stuck his neck out unless he was really bowled over by this guy.... so hopefully he'll prove the doubters wrong (myself included!).

Well 3 points on the board and a clean sheet, away from home to boot. A good start but it will take a lot to win over all the disgruntled Notts fans. Although I feel that we are more annoyed with Ray than the manager. Let's hope finally Ray has found his diamond in the rough.

The issue is appointing an untried manager again. AS you say, all we can do is hope he can get some results while playing decent football at home.i'll take parking a doubledecker away to get points.

well I say welcome and the best of luck to him, I feel more confident in his abilities to manage notts than kiwomya or derry who were both clueless. could not understand the backlash from his appt. who were people expecting, mark cooper would have been a disaster imo and john Sheridan was far from inspiring, so I will back him and hope the performances stay as they were under moniz,(who I was disappointed to see get the boot), I have a feeling mr fullarton might just turn out good for notts.
