Several posters on Mad are calling for Moniz to go. Yes, that's the same Ricardo Moniz who has guided Notts to win their last 4 home matches. Making 9 changes today is certainly something that shouldn't be glossed over but the short termism of some really does beggar belief.

Ironically, Nigel Clough has been mentioned by some of these posters as the person they would want as manager. I say ironically, because Clough's managerial successes have been built on slow but steady progress. Those same posters would never show the patience required.

Anyway, it's time to get real and get behind the manager.

It would appear from several seasons on NCM the only thing that would appease the masses would be winning every game, not conceding a goal and yellow/red cards. Whilst playing entertaining football and winning at least 3-0

Something must have kicked off for 9 changes to have been made.

RM may have done it to show who's boss but he has to work out his best 11 and stick with it.

What I do not understand is that they are professional footballers and the is the issue of fitness in the last 15 minutes in every game.

Maybe he saw this match as one where we wouldn't get anything from and wanted to give the fringe players a chance.

I'm not convinced about Moniz, but if the last 5 years have taught us anything it's that constantly sacking managers gets us nowhere good.

If Derry had stayed, would we have scraped the few points we needed to stay up in that run of relatively easy fixtures? We'll never know. If Curle had stayed, would we have regained the momentum needed to push for the play-offs or at least not alienated a talented bunch of players? Dunno. If Short had stayed, would we have avoided the nightmare that was Paul Ince's reign? Well... yes.

Hindsight is a great thing, but some people seem to have very short memories.

Can`t see it being that, caj. Orient hadn`t won in seven games and were lacking in confidence. Moniz even said after the game we should have taken our chances and won the game which was there for the taking by either side.

Lets hope it's just a shake up to keep everyone on their toes then, I really want Moniz o succeed purely to stop the ridiculous turn over in managers.

Agree but only if the players put in a shift, otherwise he'll go.
