According to the NEP:

It's a rumour that won't go away and we certainly need to tighten up the defence.

Is our scouting so bad that we can't move on from former players? An ex is an ex for a reason and the love affair is never the same the second time around (unless its with Eddie :D)

I still think we should have kept Cranston, whats happening with Sharpe and Blair anyway?

Does Moniz just not like them?

The reason in Sheehan's case is that Bradford offered him more money than we did. I don't see that as greed when I'm sure 99% of us would do the same.

Not really bothered why he left. The reality is that there will be an expectation on him to deliver and if he doesn't, well we know how quickly Notts fans turn on players/staff/owners.

We'll soon find out as he has just signed on loan.

Whatever his previous off field disputes and comments were about, I never once saw Alan Sheehan give less than 100% on the field of play. Personally, I can't wait to see him wear the shirt again.

I have reservations as to whether he will be fully match fit.

I was pretty sure a few league one clubs would have snapped him up, so it can only be a good thing he's here and should still be a cut above this division. Many seem to think he had burnt his bridges at Notts so says something about his character to want to come back, any improvement on Audel and Amevor in the back line is fine by me. Looking forward to tomorrow, anyone think Sheehan will be a starter considering he's just getting over an injury?

There's the rub. If he isn't match fit. why take him on loan?
