Come on then Notts.

Carroll, Amevor, Hollis, Snijders, Campbell, Burke, Swerts, Stead, Audel, Aborah, McLeod

Subs, Loach, Smith, Thompson, Noble, Spencer, Jenner, Edwards.

I was going to go but it's a lovely day on the south coast and I spent the first part of the day on the beach at Lee on the Solent. Baking down here. Time for a few pints and uncle Colin.

Gutted by the result. From listening to the game, it would be simplistic to point the finger at the defence today. They were resolute for a long time but if we are offering nothing going forwards, then eventually the pressure is going to tell. Let's hope we manage to put in a 90 minute performance on Tuesday. One thing's for sure, Izale should be well up for it.

We need more tenacity in midfield. Stead is wasted playing deep, put Curtis in.

I agree. Stead should be partnering McLeod and either Curtis or Noble need to be bossing the midfield, particularly away from home. When fit, we have an abundance of riches to choose from in midfield, so let's make sure that we use them.

Agree also, stead should be up top with McLeod, it's not his game to try and cover every blade of grass for 90 mins which to me it seems he's being told to do, yesterday when Wimbledon were turning up the pressure we never had an out ball, it was boot it up field and wait for it to come back, and why moniz keeps persisting with amevor is a mystery to me he is mediocre at best. Don't know if Hewitt is injured, even so Atkinson would show more desire and defensive awareness than that lump.

We have to go 4 4 2 to have any steel in midfield.
