Turning Point?

Maybe it was the JPT Stags game, but you've got to imagine the team would have got a real lift from the way they won the Luton game today.

What a great atmosphere, and the reffing must have been really frustrating and then to lose two unstoppable goals... Notts must have felt like shit, then the spectacular stoppage time Noble winner...

Today's game will be a big lift for the club, a really gellifying moment, let's hope this was the turning point and we can kick on now.

Hopefully. Now we need to build a little run, if we can get 9 points from the next 12 it will look a lot better.

Wimbledon, Crawley, York and Daggers: as the table stands 9 points from the next 4 doesn't look impossible. Realistically, even 7 or 8 points should be considered a spell of very good form.

Only if we tighten the defence and play for the full 90 minutes.

A good result but we need to protect the lead when we have it.

Onward and upward.

Today could well be a huge moment in our season. We've had lots of setbacks early on and having let a 2 goal lead slip today, I really feared the worst once more but we didn't go under. Instead, we showed great character and got a great win against what on paper is a very useful team. Let's hope that we back this up against Wimbledon as it will set us up nicely for the home games against Crawley and York.

I bought my tickets for Wimbledon on Friday in the hope that we put on a good show today, must admit at 2-2 and looking likely to concede again I felt like I'm throwing good money after bad, then up steps nobby and it's back on. Roll on next Saturday.

Hopefully we won't get a card happy ref in the next few games. None of the Notts' yellows deserved a booking and it looked like 2 penalties from the DP.
