I only caught some of the commentary today due to taking the kids to a party (the joys of having a young family!). After the game finished, Robin Chipperfield mentioned that Uncle Col had talked about the speculation linking Shehan with a return. Did anyone catch it? Was he saying it was a credible rumour or that there was nothing in it?

The irony is that if we signed him, he would be more use to us at centre half than at left back.

I've just seen that Phil Parkinson confirmed after Bradford's match today that Sheehan has been told he can leave the club either on loan or a permanent basis. Quite a few of their fans seem surprised by this.

Could this pave the way for a return and if so, would you welcome it? If I ha been asked in the Summer I would have said a definite but seeing how things have turned out, he would surely improve our defence.

Would he come to us at the moment? To drop down a level to a team that's frankly struggling in the league below... I'd love him back at CB, so hope he can be persuaded!

I would take him on loan and see how it develops until January, don't think moniz would put up with his mardy outbursts. Personally I don't like taking players back and it seems he did burn some bridges last time.

I agree about taking players back.
