I had to come on here and say how impressed I was with your performance at Villa Park. You put up more than a fight and had you won the tie after 90 minutes, it would have been thoroughly deserved. It was only the strength and stamina required during extra time that got us through.

From what I saw, Notts County fans conducted themselves impeccably.

Your team and your fans are a credit to yourselves and Nottingham.

Wishing you every success for the rest of the season.

Cheers for taking the time to come on here with those kind words Mark. Even though I had a ticket for last night's game, I was unfortunately unable to go for personal reasons but I'm really glad that we gave a good account of ourselves and played our part in what sounded like a fantastic contest. It's been great to see the progress that Jack Grealish has been making and long may it continue. Graham Burke is doing a good job for us too so feel free to send any more talented young players our way!

Good luck in the next round against your 'neighbours'. Always preferred Villa to them lot. All the best for the rest of the season too.

I've always quite liked Villa, first time I visited Villa Park was in the 70s after about an hours sleep on either Boxing Day or New Years Day. I remember it well because I was pictured on Star Soccer on ITV the next day throwing the ball to Ray Graydon (older Villa fans will remember) to take a corner!! We had some good games in the old division 3 days. I also remember being on a campsite in the south of France when they won the European Cup. Loads of Germans there, was good to beat them for once!

First time I've been to villa park and was very impressed and it added to the enjoyment of a good night, even though there were a fair few w***ers in our support, bloody Danny Dyer wannabes, most of em would get battered shadow boxing.

Sadly, they always seem to come out for games like this. It's a good thing that we don't get to see the likes of them more often.
