Mullins Becomes Derry's Fourth Signing

Hayden Mullins will return to Meadow Lane for the 2014-15 season after having now signed a 12 month deal.

Mullins was impressive and more than played his part in his defensive role for us last season after moving to the club on loan from Birmingham City, with the centre back making 16 appearances for us, helping us to avoid relegation.

Having played his part in our 'Great Escape' he was recalled by Birmingham manager Lee Clark to play his part in their own escape at the very end of the season.

Manager Shaun Derry made no secret of the fact that he'd like to sign the 35 year old on a permanent basis as he begins rebuilding us, and that has now come to pass.
