County Announce First Friendly Of The Summer

Notts County's pre season plans are now taking shape and they have announced who our very first friendly of the summer will be against.

We will face Arnold Town at their Eagle Valley ground on Wednesday July 9th and the game will kick off at 7.30pm.

This will be manager Shaun Derry's very first pre season friendly since taking on the job and will kick off our plans and preparations for the coming 2014-15 season.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer explained.

'I think it's great that we've got so many good local teams in and around Nottingham that we can play against. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I was playing at Eagle Valley in a charity match and it's a great set up there, so I'm looking forward to taking the lads along for our first pre season game, which I'm sure the fans will be looking forward to as well.'

Ticket prices for the game are yet to be set, but should be announced shortly, and our pre season list at the moment reads.

Wednesday 9 July (7:30pm) - Arnold Town (Eagle Valley)
Saturday 12 July (3pm) - Mansfield Town (One Call Stadium)
Tuesday 15 July (7.30pm) - Nuneaton Town (Sperrin Brewery Stadium)
Saturday 19 July (1pm) - Derby County (Meadow Lane)
Tuesday 22 July (7.30pm) - Carlton Town (Stoke Lane)
Saturday 26 July (3pm) - FC Halifax Town (The Shay Stadium)
Tuesday 29 July (7.30pm) - Birmingham City (Meadow Lane)
