Derry Confirms Retained List & Releases Ten

It's all change for manager Shaun Derry as he begins his preparations for next season, as the club have announced that ten players have been released and will depart the club officially when their contracts expire over the summer.

Alan Sheehan, Gary Liddle, Jimmy Spencer, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Kyle Dixon and Jeremy Balmy are all out of contract this summer and have been offered new deals by the club.

County have also taken up the option they held on striker Ronan Murray.

However, Manny Smith, Dean Leacock, Enoch Showunmi, Adam Coombes, Mark Fotheringham, Andre Boucaud, Gareth Roberts, Malcolm Melvin, Romello Nangle and Malachi Lavelle-Moore will not be offered new terms and will depart the club now, with County wishing them the best for their futures.

Bartosz Bialkowski, Fabien Spiess, Mustapha Dumbuya, Danny Haynes, Tyrell Waite, Curtis Thompson, Greg Tempest and Haydn Hollis all remain under contract for next season on their existing deals.

Brad McGowan and Harry Andrews will also join our first team set up next season having graduated through our youth ranks, and will now be in contention when we return for pre season.
