Kiwomya Delighted With Tour Progress

The lads are now back on home soil following our 9 day trip to Finland, and over the training sessions and the three games, Chris Kiwomya has said he was delighted with the progress shown by the players.

Speaking to the Official Site after the squad returned to training at Highfields, the gaffer said.

'I'm really pleased, the lads have committed themselves in Finland very well. The preparations have been very good and the team bonding has been excellent. We've had a little laugh at some of the players, the new arrivals, signing their songs. The lads did well to get the three wins and we're now looking forward to getting back to business in England now.'

Now they are back, Kiwomya says he's looking forward to the tests posed by our domestic friendlies as the lads continue working towards the start of the season proper.
