'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kiwomya Pleased Despite Defeat

Despite losing 2-0 to Steaua Bucharest, Chris Kiwomya said he was delighted with the workout that the team received from the Romanian Champions.

Kiwomya fielded two different XI's in each half, and he thinks all the players benefitted from the test they faced.

Speaking to the Official Site the boss said.

'It was all about a good workout for the lads and they got that with Steaua Bucharest, who are a very good team playing the Champions League. We did some good things in the game and we were unlucky because we got into some good positions, particularly in the second half. We came through with some good performances.'

Kiwomya says the result is really irrelevant as it's all about fitness and helping the team gel and work with his tactics for the coming league campaign.

He also admitted he's waiting on one or deals which he hopes to finalise before we come back from our visit to Finland.
