Premiership Youngster Becomes First Signing

Former U21 Aston Villa midfielder Malcolm Melvin will become Chris Kiwomya's first signing of the summer when his scholarship expires.

The highly rated youngster will officially join County on July 1 on an initial six month contract to see how he adjusts to the club.

The 18 year old is a Scottish Youth International and has been capped at U17, U18 and U19 levels.

The player has yet to make his first team debut for Aston Villa, but was a regular in their youth and U21 squads.
