'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jones Speaks On Final Job In Football

New assistant manager Mick Jones has spoken about what he hopes he can help achieve for the club in what will be his last job in football.

Speaking to the BBC after rejoining the club again, Jones said.

'I want to help recreate those Notts County days. I should be retiring, this will definitely be my last club, and I want it to be successful. I've come back because I love Notts County and I hope that can create a lot of enthusiasm among everyone here.'

Jones also admitted that it was both the insistence of Chris Kiwomya and the advice of Neil Warnock that he decided to give the job a go, but he was unsure for a long time about whether he was making the right decision to return, but he feels it's the perfect way for him to bow out of football and hopefully create one last successful memory of his association with the club.
