'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Thompson Sets Targets

19 year old Curtis Thompson broke into the first team last season and for the coming campaign he's targeting at least 10 first team games.

The midfielder impressed in his two games last season and after bagging himself a new deal he told the Official Site about his plans for next term.

Obviously the main aim is in getting more pitch time.

'I want to play at least 10 games and if I manage that I'll be happy. I'm just delighted to have a new deal. I've improved as a player and been involved a lot more since Chris took over.'

He says he's going to keep himself in shape over the summer so he can hit the ground running next season and give himself the best possible chance of figuring early in our league campaign.
