Hughes Rejects Contract

Jeff Hughes has rejected the offer of a new contract at Notts County and has instead joined Fleetwood Town.

The 27 year old made 99 appearances for the club in the two years he has been with us, and has now taken up a two year deal at Highbury.

The Northern Ireland international has dropped a division to join his new club and he said of his time at Meadow Lane.

'I was pleased with my two seasons at County. The idea of how Fleetwood plan to go forward was sold to me and it's an exciting prospect.'
