Ablitt Welcomed As Director

Ablitt Welcomed As Director

Notts County have announced that former Associate Director Mark Ablitt, has now been welcomed to the Board of Directors.

He joined the club, along with his wife, as an Associate Director last September and he has now taken the step to become a fully fledged Director and will join the Board.

Speaking to the Official Site over his new role, Ablitt said.

'To be asked to join the Board of Directors at the club that you have supported all of your life is probably the dream of every football fan and I am delighted to be in a position to accept that invitation. To be able to contribute to the running of Notts County and to hopefully help move the club forwards is all I have ever wanted really.'

Chairman Ray Trew said of the appointment.

'We are delighted to welcome Mark onto the Board. He has everything we could ask for in a Director. Mark's commitment is unquestionable and to have added his drive and enthusiasm, coupled with his financial backing obviously, is a fantastic step for the club.'
