'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cofie On Debut & Goal

John Cofie has admitted he was absolutely shattered after the Crewe game, and he didn't have the energy to celebrate his debut goal for us properly.

Speaking to the Official Site after a well earned sleep, our new loan signing said of his debut, and his goal.

'It was unbelievable, to be fair, and if I had a it more energy I would've celebrated a bit more. I was a little bit tired, but I really enjoyed it.'

Striving to improve, Cofie admits that his shot was weak and he has to do better in future so he doesn't give he keeper any chance to get it.

'It's the step up from boys to men's football for me and hopefully I can prove myself here. Obviously, I'm happy I scored but it's onto the next one now.'

Good attitude really, always looking to learn and improve, and not getting carried away too early. Could turn out to be a very shrewd bit of business by the caretaker manager.
