It's Chris' Job To Lose - Rodwell

Chief Executive Jim Rodwell has said that the job of manager is in Chris' hands depending on how he performs.

Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham Rodwell said.

'It's his job to lose. He stands the best chance because he is in the hotseat. The dream is that it's a long term appointment.'

Rodwell explains that he feels every chairman who appoints a caretaker boss is hopeful that the appointment works out and they prove to be a success because you know what you are getting when you take them on. There's that existing idea of what they are capable of doing, that you don't always get when interviewing someone you may not have worked with before, or had an existing relationship with.
