Magpies To Support The Children's Air Ambulance
The Crew of the Nottingham Air Ambulance will be on hand at the Crewe game this weekend to launch their '2p on the pitch' fundraising appeal.
Children's Air Ambulance fundraising manager, Daniel Routt told the Official Site.
'We need your help to raise funds to support all three organisations. Help us reach our fundraising goal of £154,000 which will be the equivalent of symbolically blanket covering a 90 x 60m football pitch in 2p pieces.'
The charity is funded solely through donations and receives no Government or National Lottery funding, and Daniel explains that they require approximately £134,000 a month to operate.
